The Critical Infrastructure and Coastal Protection Authority, like other institutions of the country, looks forward to complying with all the functional tasks entrusted to it. It is the body responsible for providing out the necessary security and protection for all vital installations and infrastructure spread in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. The security system of the agency aims to sustain economic and social prosperity in the Emirate. The agency follows up and evaluates all security measures related to the vital installations scattered in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi represented in the oil installations “on land and on sea” from any threats or acts of sabotage, in addition to securing the maritime theatre to the Emirate through the application of laws related to the security and safety of the sea goers and the protection of its marine wealth, in coordination with the concerned federal and local government agencies.
